Above oil-gas reservoir-on the earth's surface, there is abnormal concentration of hydrocarbon gas because of the pressure of oil-gas and hydro carbon microseepage. Where there is hydrocarbon gas, there is various earth's surface anomalies that can be obtained by remote sensing technique at Present. Based on this Principle, Ladar is a kind of more effective means by direct detecting quantity of significant gas. Combining techniques of Laser and Radar make Lader possess superior distinct property. With continuous development and perfect of Its technique, Ladar has been possible to be used in direct exploration oil and gas resources. In this paper, Ladar system, basic principles and detecting method are presented and applicable feasibility is discussed. To this end. we belive that Ladar is a more powerful tool and must have an extensive applied prospect in the exploration of natural mineral resources as well.
