Li Jiangfeng, Yang Sennan, Wei Bize, Liu Jiping
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1998, 10 (3): 4-9.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1998.03.02
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (408KB) ( 1236 )

The paper uses color infrared remote sensing and field investigation technology to interpret linear structure and fault system in three gorges dam and explains the feature of the fault structure. From these analyses, it concludes that: there are mainly four groups fault in the area, that is : NWW group, SN-NNE group, NW-NWW group and NE-NEE group. NNW group is the best developed among them, NE-NEE group is the second developed, SN-NNE group is the third developed, NW-NWW group is the weakest developed. Through statistic method, the paper counts the linear structures length, quantity, fault cross point numbers in net unit and analyses the regular of the fault distribution in this area and their effect to rock quality and dam base stability. In addition to these, the paper also discusses the environment such as tempreture, pressure when the fault formed and formation history through using the feature of mineral fluid inclusion.

    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1998, 10 (3): 14-18.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1998.03.04
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (339KB) ( 795 )

The middle part of Chuanzang Highway, nearly 900 km 2, is located in southeast border of Tibetan plateau in which there was heavy crust movement during the geological history, especially in Quaternary, and there are rough landscape and weather. So the geological hazard are popular in forms and scopes. In order to investigate the distribution of the hazard along the highway, a project of aerial color infrared photography was made by CRSG in the beginning of 90’s. The image interpretation of geology had done with the photos. The characteristics and shape of landslides, rockfalls and mud flows, and etc. was analyzed and a proposals were promoted for protection of geological hazards.

    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1998, 10 (3): 26-30,82.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1998.03.07
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (373KB) ( 860 )

The traditional geological disaster survey relies on field reconnaissance with a lot of manpower and expenditure. In the project of “Remote sensing for land resources in Anhui Province”, author uses TM images and tape data to survey the geological disaster for the first time. This method not only extends the limitation of field reconnaissance, but also is more suitable for studying lager scale surface disaster. With which, the quantitative and qualitative study can be used in the geological disaster, so its type, scale and extent can be surveied objectively, accurately and quickly. The result of survey can be utilized to analyze the causes of disaster and how it develops. Also it can be used to make disaster zoning, predict vulnerable area and offer scientific proof for disaster preparedness and relief.

The paper uses the remote sensing technique to systematically research Hainan island land desertification and its law. By interpreting TM image and some aero color infrared photo, the paper gives us the land desertification distribution area, it has the feature that the desertification is worst in west and light in east, and the farther away from the sea, the lighter it is. In order to enhance the useful imformation, some methods of image processing were used. At the same time, the reason and development trend of Hainan island land desertification is discussed and the cure method is also put forword in this paper.

Nanxiang basin is a Mesozonic and Cenozonic Era deposit basin which contains oil and gas, its formation and evolution has close relation to faults activity. Through 1:20 000 satellite TM image, three kinds of linear constructions are interpreted in this region, relationship between basin foundational construction and regional construction is clear, the pictures about Basin construction sketch and fault density are compiled. These data are important base for gas and oil forecast. The author applies theory of changing field retrieval to simulate the force way of the sunken and believes that mantle uplift caused by fault activity is one of important factors of the sunken formation.

    Abstract   HTML   PDF (337KB) ( 805 )

On the base of the plate tectonic theory, the middle-lower reach of Yeerqianghe River is prospect area for gold, copper and polymetallic mineralization. Because landform is very complex and transportation condition is seriously bad in this area, the study of exploration geology had not been carried out in detail. For this reason, we have analyzed mineralization condition on the base of TM image feature, extracted a lot of useful information which related to mineralization through processing for Landsat TM data and predicted gold, copper and polymetallic mineralization belt.
