Abstract

According to Landsat image, there is an ancient proluvial fan between Shizuishan, Ningxia and Wuda, Inner Mongolia, which is cut through by the Yellow River. The investigation in the field proves that the three stage terrace of the Yellow River is proluvial erosional terrace in late Pleistocene. So, the Yellow River growth was after late Pleistocene.
