Ma Zulu, Ru Jinwen, Liu Guanghui
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1995, 7 (4): 5-13.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1995.04.02
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (565KB) ( 708 )

Abstract The purpose of this paper is to describe the techniques of urban land use classification of TM image for land use investigation in Zheng Yuan county, Guizhou Province, where is a typical karst mountain area, with many land use types scattering in. The authors also discuss the result and its accurate, and introduce some simple methods of improving the accurate of classification. A geographical information system for land management (SK set 2.0) was set up and the result of the investigation was compared and examinated. It shows that the accurate of the investigation is good.

USING REMOTE SENSING TO INVESTIGATE THE GEOLOGICAL CAUSE OF TOURISM RESOURCES OF DAZESHAN MOUNTAINS DISTRICT
    Ping Zhongliang
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1995, 7 (4): 15-18,50.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1995.04.03
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1112KB) ( 685 )

Abstract The remote sensing image of DAZESHAN mountains district was used to investigate in to the tourism resources. The vortex structure and its nuclear pool, vortical rape , rock slice between two vortical surface, brush structure was interpreted from remote sensing image. The research came to conclusion that DAZESHAN tourist area results from rotating and shearing. The ground survey of some scenic spots was made. Some ideas about develoment of tourism resources were presented.

THE PRACTICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF LINEAR STRUCTURES AND CIRCULAR STRUCTURES
    Wang Yuming
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1995, 7 (4): 19-25.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1995.04.04
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (3518KB) ( 752 )

Abstract From the macroscopic features of Landsat images, we can found the linear structures and circular structures that have a very clearly show on the Landsat photographs. These two kinds of structures are colsely related to the mineral, grounder waters, petroleum, earthquake and the stability of engineering etc. Therefore, It has a very important practical significance to study the theory of the linear structures and circular structures.

STUDYING DETACHEMENT STRUCTURE USING REMOTE SENSING IMAGERY IN THE WEST MOUNTAIN COAL FIELD IN BEIJING
Xia Yan, Wang Wenxia, Zhang Dashun
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1995, 7 (4): 26-31.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1995.04.05
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1260KB) ( 890 )

Remote sensing technique is specially suitable to detect and map geology structure in a mountain area. In this paper, by using a lot of new information from remote sensing imagery, structure pattern of the West Mountain Coal Field in Beijing is studied. The nappe and gliding nappe are two essential types of detachment within the coal area. Some aforementioned characteristics are dealed with such as their remote sensing image characters、distribution、geometry、genesis、evolution. The relationship between the datachments and the coal seams is payed great attention.

A TM IMAGE ANALYSIS FOR NAPPE STRUCTURE PATTERN IN NORTHERN REGION OF JIANGXI PROVINCE
    Zhang FuXiang
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1995, 7 (4): 32-38.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1995.04.06
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (477KB) ( 970 )

Four image discriminant marks of the nappe structure on the TM picture in northern part of Jiangxi Provinces are, first of all, discussed. Then, on the basis of careful interpretation and analysis of a TM digital mosaic image in the. area, a regional distribution pattern of the nappe structure is further proposed.

USING METEOROLOGICAL SATELLITE’S VIC TO MONITOR SOIL STATE
Cai Bin, Lu Wenjie, Zhang Xinjiang
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1995, 7 (4): 45-50.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1995.04.08
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (902KB) ( 1337 )
In this paper, the soil state was investigated by using the Vegetation Condition index (VCI). The procedure of modifing the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) into the VCI by using NOAA satellite AVHRR 1985-1991 data was presented. By the comparison between the VCI and the conventional data, the vegetation chang caused by large scale drought or flood may by indicated. The results show that the meteorological satellite data are more suitable for drought or flood monitoring in China.

Yang Zhongen, Xu Pengwei, Luo Jiancheng
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1995, 7 (4): 51-55.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1995.04.09
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (870KB) ( 1036 )
In this paper, remote sensing monitoring technique and its application for waterlogging disaster in Zhejiang Province is introduced. It indicated that, by means of computer processing and analysing the NOAA-AVHRR data, large spope waterlogging disaster can be monitored, and the scope level and area of waterlogging disaster can be precisely, quickly, objectively estimated. Then, the damage image, numerical chart and damage report are promptlyprovided to leadership or policymaker as scientific basis for fighting and rescuing the disaster.
