STUDY OF AEOLIAN GEOMORPHIC UNIT AND IT' S INFLUENCE ON AGRICULTURE USING REMOTE SENSING IMAGE WEST JILIN
    Liu Han
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1990, 2 (1): 5-12,56.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1990.01.02
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (7097KB) ( 863 )

According to result of remote sensing image interpretation and investigation of geology-geography the auther considers that some topographic-geomorphic units are not of aeolian but related to structural activity such as the arc ridge isn't column dune and the lump isn't old dune. The local aeolian geomorphic unit is chiefly some small-scale deflation shallow valley deflation relic hillock, dune and soil hillock etc. that generate facing wind slope on ridge-mound and in hollow. The author investigates the law of the local aeolian geological precess and it's influence on agriculture according to form and distribution of some the aeolian geomorphic units. Finally the author puts forward some proposals for local agricultural program.

THE PETROLEUM GEOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF REMOTE SENSING IMAGE OF LIAOHE BASIN AND ITS NEAR REGIONS
Ye Hefei, Qi Xiaoping, Cai Xinghua
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1990, 2 (1): 13-19.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1990.01.03
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (2474KB) ( 799 )

The images of different Kinds can be obtained by using different methods in processing satelaite data. The images of Liaohe basin, produced by a combined processing method that is linear stretch -histogram adjust-local entrance-colors, are very effective in understanding the relief and structural features of pre-Tertiary base of the area. The geological interpretation of the images confirms that the northeastern (including north-north-eastern) linear structures are dominant in the basin. However, the remote sensing data show the effect of the northwestern linear structures on the formation of the basin. The geological interpretation also reveals that the ring image of the basin has two remarkable featuers. 1). the light tone mainly represents positive structures; 2). the dark tone mainly represents negative structures. Because the known oilfields have bright light tone ring or lump shape, if additional geological data are also Syntheticalay analyzed, new oilfields can be Predicted by the method of analogy.

Liu Yunliang, Yang Deming, Wang Xihua, Ye Xuezhong, Li Xianjun
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1990, 2 (1): 20-27.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1990.01.04
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (3632KB) ( 898 )

This paper with the measuring of spectral property of the geological formations as bases combined with geological and geophysical data and choosing different Processing methods for contrasting and analyses, satisfactory results are obtained. Several kinds of remote sensing images such as ratio and density slicing images are considered to be more useful in reflecting the buried structure of metamorphic formations which ferrous or iron ore bearing. Accrding to color anomalies in false color composite image of ratio and in density slicing image the exposed metamorphic formations which contain iron show dark brown and violet strip, whereas the quaternary overburden show irreqular color strips or dots. The tone indicate the buried depth of metamorphic rocks which contain iron. With the enhanced image, we have found some perspective areas.

AERIAL REMOTE SENSING OF THE AFFORESTATION IN THE BUILT-UP AREA OF YANCHEG, JINANGSU
Fun Jintao, Li Changqing, Li Shiping
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1990, 2 (1): 28-33.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1990.01.05
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1054KB) ( 705 )

In order to increase the affovestation in Yancheng, we have investigated the present situation of the affovestaton in 1988 in the built-up area of Yancheng by the aerial method of remote sensing. In this investigation the blackand-white air photographs taken in March, 1986 were chosen. The procedure is:interpreting of black-and-white air photographs-afforestation mapping and calibrating of sample-interpreting of air photographs again-remeasuring of the area and comprehensively studying. As the result of this investigation, we have made a distributive and classificatory map(1:4000)of the afforestation, re-measured the covered area of the afforestation, figured out the coefficient of cover. and the ratio of the core kind of tree and evergreen/deciduous, and put forward some suggestions on raising this level of afforestation in Yancheng.

SPECTRAL CHARACTERS AND OPTIMUM BANDS FOR GROUND-COVER IDENTIFICATION IN CHAIDAM BASIN OF QINGHAI PROVINCE
    Lou Henshu
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1990, 2 (1): 40-46.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1990.01.07
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (434KB) ( 620 )

The spectral measurments of ground-cover before the flight with an airborne multispectral scanner in Chaidam Basin, Qinghai Province are represented in this paper, in order to provide the basis for selection of best spectral bands of ground-cover identification. The spectral data over 190 samples to be taken in site, such as water, soil, vagetation, rock and salt ect, has been obtained in 1986. The optimun bands for exploration of potass resources have been selected according to the ten spectral bands in the DS-1260 scanner arranging from visible to near-infrared spectrum, with the help of the T-test and sequence-test methods in statistics.

A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RIVERINE LANDSLIDE AND HYDRODYNAMISM IN UPPER COURCE OF YANGTZE RIVER(THE SECTION FROM CHONGQING TO PEISHI)
    Liu Shangzhong
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1990, 2 (1): 47-52.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1990.01.08
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1458KB) ( 784 )

In this paper analyses of stream pattern and fluvial land form and hydro logical regime suggest that a stability of shore Yangtze's in addition to lithlogical character and structural condition, depends particularly on a roe fluvial land form and hydrodynamic process in formation of landslides along the upper course. For example a remobilization of landslide at Jipaz Yunyang County Sichuan Province on July 1982 shows that no considering geologic process of river has been landslide controlled is inopportunely.

    Abstract   HTML   PDF (2256KB) ( 738 )

The well exposed Palaeozoic volcanic rocks distribute extensively in the Beishan area of Gansu province, this provides favourable conditions for finding and studying old volcanic mechanism with remote sensing technique. By interpreting satellite images and aerial photographs of the Beishan area, this article elaborated the Meng-tieshan, Hei-yinshan old volcanic features including, the shape and land form as well as their relationship with geological structure, and mineral resources.
