    Zhang Renhua
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1999, 11 (1): 1-6.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1999.01.01
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (433KB) ( 1852 )

In terms of the practice of author for long time, development and situation in thermal infrared remote sensing research field were introduced in the paper. Particulary, major difficult in quantitatively investing of ground surface temperature, measurement of emissivity and its estimation in regional scale, was presented. Some problems in the quantitative application of thermal infrared remote sensing for some researchers were also pointed out. Finally, developing tendency in future and countermaeasure for recent works were discussed. The goal in the paper is “to cast brick and to attract jade" in order to promote the development in quantitative thermal infrared remote sensing.

Zhao Changhai, Yun Caixing, Zheng Xinjiang, He Qing, Shi Weirong, Zhang Ming
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1999, 11 (1): 15-19.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1999.01.04
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1006KB) ( 993 )

This paper uses the methorological satellite data with its advantages of time and spatial resolution to determine the silt transport route and range over the Changjiang River Mouth based on model of river cource evolution. It gives a dynamic density distribution of the suspended silt over the Changjiang River Mouth. It also presents the influence of river course silt exchange to the route silt deposition, which can be taken as a scientific basis for fixing the route dredge program.

APPLICATION OF GPS IN DYNAMIC MONITORING LAND RESOURCES AT A SUBURB OF BAOTOU
    Wang Xiaodong, Cui Weihong
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1999, 11 (1): 20-24.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1999.01.05
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (305KB) ( 827 )

It is very meaningful to master land resources status exactly and quantitatively. Traditional method of land resources changing can not locate land units accurately, with high error. Combining the key project of “the ninth Five_year Plan”. This paper introduces positioning principle and characteristics of Global Positioning System (GPS), describes the type selecting clues applied to dynamic monitoring land resources of a suburb of Baotou as well as base station establishing methods, data acquiring methods and surveying record of outdoor work, key steps of GPS data processing and so on.

THE APPLICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL REMOTE SENSING INFORMATION ANALYSIS IN SEEKING FOR WATER RESOURCE IN ARID AREAS TAKING XILINHAOTE AREA, INNER MONGOLIA AUTONOMOUS REGION AS EXAMPLES
    Wang Feiyue, Sun Shunxin
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1999, 11 (1): 36-42.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1999.01.08
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (456KB) ( 1002 )

Remote sensing information generally reflect the spectral characteristics of land surface environment which include vegetation, soil, surface water body. On the basis of researching the relationship between underground water and vegetation in arid area, the plentiful water-bearing areas underground have been defined by vegetation remote sensing information analysis. According to the regularity that the land surface water were mainly supplied by underground water, dynamic analysis of Bayanbulage lake area in this region were done by taking use of multi-temporal remote sensing information. This paper pointed out that Hujier lake was supplied by underground water of deep layer, the interpretation results have been testified by geophysical exploration and drilling. It can be a guide for seaching water in this region.

MONITORING AND ANALYSIS OF VEGETATION DYNAMIC CHANGES IN XINJIANG YINGBAZHA AREA
    Wang Ranghui
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1999, 11 (1): 43-48.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1999.01.09
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (339KB) ( 986 )

Based on the black and white aerial photos of 1983, color infrared aerial photos of 1992 and the JERS-1/VNIR image of 1996, the vegetation type maps of Yingbazha, the middle reaches of the Tarim River Basin of Xinjiang Province, are made, supported by ARC/INFO software, the changes of vegetation area and distribution condition are analysed. As a result, the natural and artificial factors affected vegetation changes are indicated. Furthermore, the advantages of RS and GIS techniques integrate to study vegetation changes are showed.

Xu Jianchun, Zhao Yingshi, Zhang Xichuan
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1999, 11 (1): 49-56.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1999.01.10
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (536KB) ( 1025 )

This paper describes Geographical Information System's core technology as map layers, vector maps, and spatial-attribute data recognizing, and gives a further comment on GIS which bases on ActiveX technology. Using object oriented method, a model consist of school map, buildings, floors and rooms is built for school GIS. Based on view and view configuration model, using such GIS platform, a school GIS software is developed. This application shows that using such GIS platform can shorten GIS software developing cycle and improve software extendibility notably.
