    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1999, 11 (4): 8-16.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1999.04.02
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (610KB) ( 1117 )

Radarsat is the most advanced satellite SAR system now. It has varied beam modes and offers the different type of remote sensing data products. Prior to the selection of suitable data products, the related influencing factors should be considered carefully. Focus on the interpretations of geological structure and lithology, this paper discusses and analyses the main influencing factors about data choice to the field of geological exploration as following: beam mode, Look anagle (beam position), acquisition time of the data, satellite's orbit and the level of data handling. Then proposing recommendations of the data products selection to the field of geological exploration were recommended, it is helpful to the geologicl survey by Radarsat SAR data Products.

    Jin Xiuliang
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1999, 11 (4): 23-25.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1999.04.04
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (214KB) ( 737 )

The paper discusses three kinds of expression types of hydrocarbon-gas's feeble seepage on the basis of practical studies in north Shanxi province oil area recently years. Moreover, provides and analyses the verifications of chemical and physical exploration or drilling exploration. Authors think that a synthetically interpretation on data of remote sensing and chemical exploration or physical exploration can get a better result in oil development.

A RESEARCH ON MONITORING KUNMING CITY HEAT ISLAND USING NOAA/AVHRR
    Zhao Hongxu
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1999, 11 (4): 29-32.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1999.04.06
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (247KB) ( 1149 )

Kunming City locates in plateau and lower latitude region. Heat island differs from other cities. The study of using NOAA/AVHRR 1, 2 and 4 channel data shows that the intensity of heat island in Kunming is very strong and daily variation is high. Some times the intensity of heat island in day time is higher than night.

SIMULATED REFLECTANCE METHOD OF TOPOGRAPHY AFFECT CORRECTION FOR AIRBORNE THEMATIC MAPPER
    Dang fuxing
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1999, 11 (4): 33-39.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1999.04.07
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1372KB) ( 1098 )
The simulated reflectance technique, which is Based on a simplified energy conservation model of solar radiation incident on a land surface, is a simple and effective method of topography affect correction for airbore multispectral image. Compared with logarithmic residual and rational images, the simulated reflectance images represent a practical combined use for thermal and reflective spectral information acquired by multispectral sensor systems, they have the advantage of conserving surface albedo information, and thus produce a more reasonable effect of quantitative interpretation in geologic application.

THE FUSION APPROACHES FOR SAR AND TM IMAGES
    Chen Caifen, Shu Ning
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1999, 11 (4): 53-57.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1999.04.10
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (289KB) ( 1312 )
The methods of color_space transformation, ratio transformation and the correlation coefficient have been discussed in this paper for image fusions of SAR and TM band 3,4,5 respectively, in order to get the enhanced images. The details of techniques and processing methods during the image fusion have been introduced. Because of the obvious noises within SAR image, the δ filtering as preprocessing for noise removal before image fusion should be considered. The image quality evaluations after fusion could be implemented by visual effects, eutropy, average gradiant and standard deviation. The results show that the informations of fusion images are richer and clearer than the raw ones'.
