STUDY ON THE EARTH CORRECTION OF TM AND THE MOSAIC METHOD

Abstract  Earth Correction and Image Mosaic are the basis of using TM image to monitoring resource and environment. The accuracy of registration is the key factor for the follow_up work. The traditional method, which selects control-points to set up equation, tends to take long time and result in geometric distortion. This paper puts forward a rapid and practical method based on the high internal geometric accuracy of TM image. Tests show that the method is characterized by high speed and high registration accuracy.
