Abstract

Using multi-time-phase Landsat TM/ETM+ images, the authors have evaluated the concentration situation of suspended sediments in the water area surrounding Xiamen island. With such means as density-slice, post-grade comparison and image difference, the images after geometric correction and atmospheric radiation correction can audio-visually and quantitatively reflect the temporal and spatial variations in the concentration of suspended sediments in different years.
