Abstract

The extraction and expression of vegetation information. of NOAA-AVHRRand Landsat-TMdigital images were discussed in this paper, We find imagesubsets of color display of vegetation type distribution could be given by difining greenness from original images of AVHRR. There are a health of vegetationinformation in each band of Landsat-TMimages that was concentratedeffectively by tasselled cap transform. Combination of the first three components may reconstruct the actual distribution of vegetation type
