EVALUATION OF MULTI-SENSOR REMOTE SENSING DATA APPLIED OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION IN THE LOESS HIGHLANDS, ORDOS PLATEAU, CHINA

Abstract  

Satellite remote sensing technology is developing rapidly worldwide. New sources of the remote sensing data and digital image analysis techniques can be applied to the field of oil and gas exploration. This study examines and evaluates multi-sensor remote sensing data in the context of a comprehensive geology investigation in the Loess Highlands of the Ordos Plateau in China. Implications for further investigations are discussed.
