    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 2000, 12 (4): 1-6.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.2000.04.01
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (413KB) ( 1315 )

The technology of microsatellite is an important achievement of high integration of space technology, electronic technology, computer technology, optics technology and remote sensing technology, many countries, especially west countries are interested in its development and application. The Space Center of Surrey University of British has developed and designed more than 20 microsatellites for more than 10 countries. Some institutes of our country have a plan of cooperation with Surrey University in absorbing microsatellite technology. Through analyzing the imagery qualities and features of the data that acquired from microsatellite, authors consider it will have good prospects in global disaster and environmental monitoring, agricultural evaluation and resource survey in the near future. In China, developing itself microsatellite technology will have a strong promotion for its space remote sensing application in social sustainable development.

A TEST RESEARCH TO PROBE WATER RESOURCE OVER ARID AREAS WITH RADARSAT REMOTE SENSING TECHNOLOGY
    WANG Fei-yue, WANG Jun-feng, WU Jun-hu, WAN Yu-qing
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 2000, 12 (4): 14-18,27.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.2000.04.03
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1208KB) ( 966 )

When researching into the relationship among underground water, soil water and rainfall, combining with climate data, we put forward the view that soil water is mainly supplied by under ground water. Because microwave is sensitive to the water content in soil, it's possible to probe water resource underground with radarsat remote sensing. With this idea, we select an arid area located in Alashanzuoqi Inner Mongulia for test, the result is reasonable and good.

APPLICATION OF REMOTE SENSING IN NEOTECTONIC STUDY OF NANCHANG AREA
XU Jin-shan, CHENG Qi, ZHANG Dong-ya
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 2000, 12 (4): 24-27.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.2000.04.05
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (2159KB) ( 967 )

In Nanchang area with widespread and thick Quaternary alluvia, two kinds of neotectonism are clearly identified by remote sensing. Vertical up-and -down makes Gan river and Fu river transfer from west to east, while horizontal drift causes extension and open of Qinlan lake and Junshan lake. The two kinds of neotectonism have trigged rockfalls of lake and river banks which should attract attention of the government.

SAR IMAGE PROCESSING AND IT'S APPLICATION IN WATER RESOURCE EXPLORATION WITHIN ARID AREA
    WAN Yu-qing, WANG Fei-yao, WU Jun-hu
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 2000, 12 (4): 50-54.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.2000.04.10
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (2223KB) ( 1033 )
The application of SARremote sensing image becomes wider. Because it can penetrate to a certain depth into ground, and is very sensitive to water content, so it's more powerful than other remote sensing methods in water exploration in arid area. This paper takes the area of Alashanzuoqi in Inner Mongolia as an example, introduces the application method of water resource exploration with SARimages, including orthgraph correction, fusing with TMimage and its application result in brief.

    Abstract   HTML   PDF (317KB) ( 990 )

Remote sensing technology, which is characterized by producing imagery on multi-platform, different temporal and spatial resolution, has greatly improved mankind's capability of acquisition, processing and application of spatial information. The increase of spatial data sources and the development, applications and industrialization of spatial information technology are urging the need of spatial data sharing and exchanging. Based on a brief introduction on the China Spatial Information Network (CSI) and its database system, the CSI Spatial Science and Technology Information Database (SSTID) management system was designed and implemented in this paper.

    Abstract   HTML   PDF (442KB) ( 977 )

Land is the material base on which human life and economy development depend. With the growth of population, the contradiction between human and land use becomes more and more sharp. How to use the limited land rationally becomes a serious problem, and it has great effect in human life and social development. ULISis such a system that people can make rational use of land by it and can make the development project accord with land use. There is a basic framework of ULISin this essay, and it is concise and explicit.
