ASSESSMENT OF FLOOD AND WATERLOGGING DAMAGE BY TM IMAGE
Dai Changda, Tang Lingli, Chen Gang
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1993, 5 (4): 1-5,27.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1993.04.01
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1151KB) ( 800 )

In the summer of 1991, the region of Yangtze and Huaihe river suffered a catastrophic flood disaster, TMimages provide rich information of flood scope, surface moisture and vegetation growing, on which crop harvest depends. Through numerical analysis and applied processing of TMimage acquired on July, 14, five days after flood peak, the components humidity(H) Greenness (G)and other now indices were obtained. After a new supervised classification a map with heavy, moderate, light degree of disaster, undamaged region and residential spots was achieved as well as each class area. checking in the field indicated that the result was accurate.

    LINEAR SYSPEM FIELD ANALYSIS
Guo Defang, Xie Qingyun, Li Xiaomeng, Lan yuqi, Bao shaohua, Zhang Yongping
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1993, 5 (4): 8-16.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1993.04.02
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (659KB) ( 743 )

This paper Presents the new concept of linear system field and linear system field analysis. It generalizes three methods of linear system field: study of static state, study of dynamic and synthetic analysis. By introducing into the concept of linear system, linear system zone and linear system group, the authors focused on discussing five contents of linear system field analysis. An example, taking the Jiyang Depression for target area, was supplied.

    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1993, 5 (4): 17-27.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1993.04.03
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (665KB) ( 932 )

Under the support of Micro-computer Spatial information System (MICSIS),we employ the TMtape data of. satellite and transform directly data into digital map for the survey and mapping of land use in Hainan Island. the methods of the survey and mapping are introduced; the land use clas- sification, and the image characterestics and relevant interpretation indexes of various types are discussed; the area statistics of different types is done.

SATELLITE REMOTE SENSING OF URBAN HEAT ISLAND EFFECTS FOR SUZHOU,CHANGZHOU AND ZHENJIANG
    Li Xuwen
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1993, 5 (4): 28-33.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1993.04.04
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (986KB) ( 878 )

The Landsat-5 Thematic Mapper thermal infrared images are processed for the analysis of urban heat island effects (UHIE) in Suzhou, Ohangzhou and Zhenjiang. The intensity, spatial distribution and cause of UHIEare investigated and discussed. It showed that Thematic Mapper data are quite useful for thermal environmental quality appraisal.

PRIMARY APPLICATION OF PLANT SPECTRAL CHARACTERISTICS AND ITS TRACE-ELEMENT ANALYSIS FOR REMOTE SENSING INTERPRETATION OF OIL AND GAS
    Wang Jinyi
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1993, 5 (4): 34-37,7.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1993.04.05
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (943KB) ( 861 )

The measurement of plant spectrum and analysis of plant trace-element were made on-the-spot according to the circular anomalies on Landsat image of North Tarim basin in Xinjiang. The results show that the distinct differences of plant spectral characteristic and trace-element content between anomalous area and normal area. In anomalous area, content of element Li in f plant is. more higher than in normal area, and trace-element Ni concentrated, but base element Rb decreased.

THE TWO COLOR FEATURES"OF COLOR INFRARED PHOTOS AND IT’S IMPROVEMENT
    Ji Gengshan, Fu Jiang
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1993, 5 (4): 38-41.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1993.04.06
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (230KB) ( 1188 )
Instead of "the two co for features" forming the Visible and infrared wave bands, We improved the processing craft of color infrared negative films produced in China. From negative to positive, We obtained color photos with rich color leves. It is of general significance to other specialty remote Sensing.

EXTRACTION OF WALLROCK ALTERATION INFORMATION OF COLD DEPOSIT FROM LANDSAT TM DATA
    Ping Zhongling
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1993, 5 (4): 42-45.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1993.04.07
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (942KB) ( 960 )
The ratio images were made to enhance the information of wallrock alteration by utilizing the spectral characteristics of wall rock alteration of gold deposits. The ratio images were Composed to concentrate the information of wall rock alteration which has been enhanced and make the gold deposits information to be obvious in order to survey the gold deposit from remote sensing data directly.

Wei Wenqiu, Chen Xiuwan, Xie Shuqin
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1993, 5 (4): 46-53.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1993.04.08
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (481KB) ( 1165 )
The state of land use ban provide important basis for regional plan, crops layout, ecological environment protection, basin hydrological model establishment and flood control, etc. Four methods of land use survey using multiseasonal multispectral Landsat TMdata and the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) calculated from Landsat TMdata are discussed,in this paper. They are ①interpretation of TMfalse colour composite image composed by three optimal band TMimages; ②mixed cluster classification (MCC) using optimal band TMimages; ③interpretation of NDVIfalse colour image composed by optimal seasonal NPVIimages ; ④MCCusing optimal seasonal NDVIimages. Applied these methods to land use survey in an experimental area of Chu County, Anhui province, it shows that land use types can be surveyed efficiently by using these four methods in the same time.

STUDY OF METHOD FOR EVALUATING THE CURRENT SITUATION OF CITY BUILDINGS USING ARIAL REMOTE SENSING IMAGES
Sheng yehua, Guo dazhi, Han guojian
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1993, 5 (4): 54-60.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1993.04.09
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (345KB) ( 777 )
In this paper, the classification system for buildings in Jincheng City was brought up. Using anal color-infrared images, the buildings were classified. With the help of CMLUSsystem, The area of different type buildings was mapped and calculated. According to the result of investigation on- the-spot and statistics data, the total area of each type of building and the possession level of each person were calculated. At last, The current situation of buildings in the city was evaluated.
