GEOMETRIC-OPTICAL BIDIRECTIONAL REFLECTANCE MODELLING OF GROUND OBJECTS AND ITS PROGRESS IN MEASUREMENT
Li Xiaowen, A. Strahler, Zhu Qijiang, Liu Guangcheng, Zhang Renhua, Liu Yi, Yu Xianping, Li Jiquan
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1991, 3 (1): 9-19.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1991.01.02
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (714KB) ( 1016 )

In this paper authors introduce the concept of bidirectional reflectance and its relation to 3-D spatial structure of ground objects. It is suggested to develop appropriate BRDF modes for various kinds of earth surface along with the process to set up a high spectral resolution data base for their signature. Otherwise, it is pointed:out, the costly data base can hardly deal with the great diversity of natural scene in composition and structure. Also the author gives a revise to Strahler-Jupp model and introduce the new progress of bidirectional reflectance measurement.

APPLICATION OF PATTERN INTERPRETATION METHOD IN REMOTE SENSING FOR PROGNOSTICATION OF GOLD DEPOSITS
    Zhang Tianyi, Mao Junqing
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1991, 3 (1): 20-28.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1991.01.03
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1475KB) ( 1051 )

Taking the Xionger-Waifang Mountain area in Henan Province as an example, this paper expounded the principles and application of patterns of"the cooperative disply of linear-circular images"(CDLCI) and "the multi-sources cooperative disply"(MSCD), which were set up on the basis of information obtained from remote sensing and geophysical-geochemical prospecting. The calculation procedures of mineralizing favourability and gold deposits prognostication by using an entropy function was also introduced in this paper.

DISCUSSION ON PROSPECTIVE RESERVES OF POTASSIUM DEPOSIT IN LOP NUR RECION USING REMOTE SENSING IN GEOLOGY
    Li Tingqi
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1991, 3 (1): 29-33.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1991.01.04
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1206KB) ( 907 )

Four remote Sensing image forms appear in the Lop nur region: white colored background image, dark yellow-red mushroom-form image, ear-form image and winding belt-form image. The dark yellow-red mushroom-form image indicates old evaporites and the site of potassium deposit. Characterized by its shallow depth it can be prognosticated that there will be more than 100 million tons of potassium chloride in this region.

AIRBORNE THERMAL INFRARED REMOTE SENSING INVESTIGATION ON OIL PIPES IN NORTH CHINA OIL FIELD
    Li Jinghua
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1991, 3 (1): 34-39.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1991.01.05
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1449KB) ( 1128 )

Petroleum running in the underground pipes always diffuces heat and forms diffused heat anomaly zones with temperature obviously higher than its surroundings. Based on this effect this paper briefly introduces the method of using airborne thermal infrared images obtained at different time and different altitude to detect oil pipe pets in oil field and the results obtained.

APPLICATION OF REMOTE SENSING TECHNIQUE TO MINERAL RESOURCES PROGNOSIS IN THE SOUTHERN LUZONG BASIN,ANHUI PROVINCE
    Shi Dongfang, Lu Xianzhang
    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1991, 3 (1): 40-47.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1991.01.06
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (529KB) ( 830 )

Luzong basin is a basin covered with intermediate-acidic volcanic rocks of Mesozoic age located in the conjunction of Qinling latitudinal structural system with the second upwarping zone of Neocathaysian structural system. The authors focused on the methodology of mineral resources research in volcanic area by applying remote sensing technique and analyzed the relationship between mineralizing conditions and their remote sensing images based on the comprehensive geological interpretation of multifarious and multistage remote sensing images and field examination. It is proven that the remote sensing images have advantages to the interpretation of geological structure and volcanic mechanism. The marks of mineral resources (i.e. gold and copper) prognosis in remote sensing images in this area have been distinguished and the possible mineralizing ranges have been determined.

    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1991, 3 (1): 48-54.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1991.01.07
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1293KB) ( 908 )
The amount of silt deposit behind the dam was measured with the airborne images stereo model on the aerophoto interpreter. Based on the aerial stereo survey, and the amount of soil erosion was calculated for small river basin. This study found an accurate, effective and practical method for the comprehensive soil erosion survey on the Loess Plateau,

    REMOTE SENSING FOR LAND & RESOURCES. 1991, 3 (1): 54-58,33.   DOI: 10.6046/gtzyyg.1991.01.08
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1367KB) ( 908 )

This paper is aimed at land use mapping technique with SPOT image to produce a Land use map at county level (1:50000)in hilly-gully area of Loess Plateau. A more suitable method was devised by the authors by using SPOT image together with black-white airphoto. This paper also deals with the classification of certain kinds of soils by the applications of SPOT images.
