COMPUTER DISTINGUISHING ANALYSIS FOR MONITORING FOREST RECOVERY AT GU-LIAN-HE FOREST FARM

Abstract  This paper describes a test in which the TMdata has been processed in the GU-Lian-He forest farm, the north of the Da-Xing-An-Ling forest zone in Hei-Long-Jiang province suffered serious conflagration during May 6 to June 2 in 1987 Anew method is developed in which K-Ltransformation is used in two periods data together. And also K-Ttransformation is used for calculating the greenness component. Several classification images on monitoring the change of forest resources have been obtained by analysing the coefficient of transformation and computer automatic distinguishing. The results have demonstrated that it is a reliable and superior method for monitoring the change of forest resource.
