INVESTIGATION OF THE BANK ZONE COLLAPSE AND STABILITY ALONG THE YANGTZE RIVER IN ANHUI PROVINCE BY USING REMOTE SENSING

Abstract  

This paper, by using multi-temperal remote sensing images, investigates the types, erosion (or collapse) status and stability of the bank zone along the Yangtze river within Anhui province. The results of the investigation offer a scientific basis for rational planning and utlization of bank zone.
