Abstract:The simulated reflectance technique, which is Based on a simplified energy conservation model of solar radiation incident on a land surface, is a simple and effective method of topography affect correction for airbore multispectral image. Compared with logarithmic residual and rational images, the simulated reflectance images represent a practical combined use for thermal and reflective spectral information acquired by multispectral sensor systems, they have the advantage of conserving surface albedo information, and thus produce a more reasonable effect of quantitative interpretation in geologic application.
