THE POTENTIAL OF REMOTE SENSING TECHNIQUE FOR LANDUSE DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT AND PROTECTION IN SANJIANG PLAIN AREAS

Abstract  

The Sanjiang plain areas covers a vast territory with high nutrient soil and it abounds in natural resources and it is one of the main grain producers of China. There were many wasteland has been cultivated in this areas during the past ten years. This article describes the results of remote sensing monitor by using Landsat TM images as well as the change of the Landuse and its affection to ecological environment.
