THE METHODS OF DISPELLING SNOW IN TM IMAGE ALONG XIANSHUIHE ACTIVE FAULTZONE

Abstract  Xianshuihe active fault zone is situated in the northwest plateau rogion of Sichuan province, one of the major problems is,when study Xianshuihe active fault zone using TMimages,that flake snow often appears in TMimages,fakesnow affect the effective display of the useful geological information, This paper mainly discuss how we make use of digital image processing technology to restrain the influence of snow flake and to extract the information of active fault zone.
