Abstract  This paper analysed the feature of absorption spectrum of alteration mineral that relating to the gold mineralized alteration such as the ferraus, the clay and the carbonete, and the spectrum disturbance caused by vegetation covered the gold deposite area. Meanwhile, it introduced how to use the methods of the vegetation index, the radio-PAC and the vegetation masking to extract the information of gold mineralized alteration from Landsat TM and JERS-1 OPS data while the vegetation information was constrained.
