Abstract

In this paper, the DEMapplication to the study of waterlogging damage in Jianghan plain is demonstrated in principles as well as methods, The waterlogging mechanism and its agroecological characters are analysed, and the loss estimation formula for rice due to waterlogging is developed. With the support of DEM, the rice loss of waterlogging is estimated in the test region
