APPLICATION OF TM IMAGE IN INVESTIGATING CHANGES OF DIKE-POND LAND ON THE PEARL RIVER DELTA——SAMPLES AS SHUNDE、NANHAI DIKE-POND REGION

Abstract  

In this paper we use TM Images of two period (1984、1994) as basic information source and also combine topographic map and high scale airphotos to investigate the changes of dike-pond land which include eleven towns on Shunde, Nanhai dike-pond region. Then separate the information of dike and pond through TM4 band to estimate the proportion of dike and pond and get satisfied result.
